Phase 1
Initial Funding
Current phase -Initial Funding from donations, sales of art, and NFT’s
Phase 2
Get them Painting
Work with local social workers and community engagements to get Professional Art supplies delivered to at Risk Youth
Phase 3
After school digital outreach
Continue to accrue capital, enough to be able to start an after school program. Initially this would be locally, then I would like this to be nationally and eventually an international art program.
In the program we will give these youth access to digital media including IPad’s and Procreate.
Working with them to teach them how they can be their own spokesperson and launch NFT’s or follow their passions!
Phase 4
Painting projects
Painting Portables Project - As our schools grow it seems that they are adding portables that end up becoming permanent additions to the school. These are eyesore of buildings. We would work with local artists, children from the schools as well as the portable owner (school or company) and we would paint it. This would allow children to get their hands colourful and work with local artists of different styles who can teach them things as they work.
Children’s Hospital Murals - Inspired by my education at McMaster and the ugly structure that is the children’s hospital. When children are going in for healing it should be a space that inspires not one that looks like a prison. I would work to get murals painted on the insides and outsides of children’s hospitals based on ideas from those in the hospitals, working with local artists to imbue their magic on these places of healing.
Phase 5
Retreat centres
Creation of retreat centres (Ideal location in Central America, Western Canada, Africa and Southeast Asia) where people can go to visit and experience art and community. Here I would have local artist in residences who would be willing to offer continuous teaching of skills to locals. Then I would bring internationally acclaimed artists to these locations to offer teachings and continue to spread art around the world.
